Mildred A. Murray, 92, of the 1100 block of Five Forks Rd., passed away on May 21, 2015. Born in Wilson County, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Annie Daniels Aycock and Jesse D. Aycock. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Murray; her daughters Betty Murray Murden and Mildred Anita Moke; brothers Clifford, J.D. and Aaron Aycock; sisters Myrtle A. Lewis and Marie A. Johnson. Mrs. Murray retired after 33 years teaching in Norfolk City Schools.

She is survived by two grandsons William Christopher Moke and Raymond David Murden; granddaughter Stacy Murden Morse; great granddaughter Lily Henry; great grandson Jacob Morse; sister Marcelene Aycock Moore and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-3p.m. on 5/27 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA followed by a 3p.m. Graveside at Rosewood Memorial Park.
