PAUL E. BRIDGES REBURIED AT ARDMORE
Reburial services for Pvt. Paul E. Bridges, 28, were held in Bettes chapel, Ardmore, Saturday afternoon. Rev. Geo. R. Hinshaw presided and Legionnaires were pallbearers. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
Pvt. Bridges was killed in action Jan. 21, 1945, near Alsace Lorraine, France. He was born in Marietta, June 13, 1920.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira E. Bridges, Oklahoma City; six brothers, Ted, R. V. and Donald, Oklahoma City; Ira Jr., Lone Grove; Jack, Buckner, Mo., and Doyle, Woodward; his wife, Exie, and two sons, Leon and Eddie, Davis, and his grandmother, Mrs. W. K. Havley, Ardmore.
Those from Davis attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Buster Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williams, Mrs. Elmer Smith and Mrs. Maurice Ford.
