Quentin E. Owens, 91, passed away Nov. 2, 2010. He was predeceased by his parents, Jimmy and Effie Owens. Mr. Owens proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II and the European arena.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Janie; his son, Glenn Owens and wife Pamela; his daughter, Sandra Harrelson and husband Marion; his grandchildren, Todd Owens and wife Sarah, Nicholle Shipman and husband Jason, and Dylan Harrelson; his great-grandchildren, Annie, Camille, Chloe, Daisey, Dylan, Elijah and Storm; and a brother, Neal Owens and wife Jimmie.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park on Sunday, Nov. 7. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
