Kenneth E. Foote, 66, died on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a member of the East Chattanooga Church of God, where he served on the pastor’s council and was a member of the sanctuary choir. He was a devout Christian and served the Lord with all his heart. He was a contractor for many years and was also a member of the Brick Layers Association of Chattanooga. An avid golfer, he was also a big Dale Earnhardt fan for many years.
He was the son of the late Howard and Ida Foote. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Foote; and his mother-in-law, Catherine Payne.
Survivors include his wife, Beverley Foote; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Stephanie Lamunyon, Ooltewah; two grandchildren, Taylor Lamunyon and Julie Lamunyon; three sisters, Martha (Johnny) Hacker, Edna Goins and Gail Foote; three brothers, Pete and June Foote, Harlan and Ruth Foote and Doyle Foote, all of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the East Chattanooga Church of God with the Rev. Fred Smith, the Rev. Don Glenn and the Rev. Harold Jones officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Steve Holder, Gary Holder, James Shephard, John Bowman, Don Jones and Glen Wilson.
