T. E. Desmond Passes Away
Timothy E. Desmond, aged 67 years of 72 Sherman street, a well known and highly esteemed resident of this city died at this home this morning at 6 o’clock, following a four months illness.
Deceased had resided in Bradford for 36 years and for quite some time was employed at the B. and O. roundhouse, where he took care of the locomotives. He was a member of St. Bernard’s church.
Mr. Desmond is survived by two sons, John Desmond and William Desmond of Bradford; one granddaughter, Margaret Mary of Bradford; two brothers, Daniel of Renovo and John of Wellsville, three sisters, Sister Mary Anthony of Shamokin; Miss Katherine Desmond of this city; and Mrs. John Dorenkamper of Los Angeles, Calif. and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 8:30 o’clock at the home and at 9 o’clock at St. Bernard’s church. Interment in St. Bernard’s cemetery.
