John Charles Allen, 75, of Manila, Utah, a retired rancher and accountant, died Monday evening at Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient two days.
Born Sept. 22, 1890, at Brown’s Park, Colo., he had lived in the Manila area since 1915.
Mr. Allen was a charter member of the Daggett Lions Club, and a life member of Masonic Lodge No. 166, AF & AM, Rockford, Ill.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Allen Stanton, Manila.
Graveside services were conducted Thursday afternoon at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah, by the Rev. Frank Blish, former Congregational Church minister in Rock Springs.
