Anna Maria (birthname Anna Maria Giacinta Natale) was the 7th of 9 children born to Panfilo Natale who was mayor of Taranta Peligna, Italy and a shoemaker & her mother, Elisabetta Madonna who was a spinner of wool. She was baptized March 24, 1892 at St. Nicola church. Her godmother was Maria Madonna, sister of Elisabetta.

She was a very religious woman of great faith.

She married Giovanni Antonio Santarelli on October 11, 1913 in Taranta.
Giovanni's father, Raffaele Santarelli, was the founder of the original woolen mill factory in Sulmona. After the 2nd World War this wonderful factory gave jobs to many people. Giovanni was a good business man. Giovanni was born April 22, 1889 in Taranta Peligna and passed away Sept. 16, 1965. He was 76 years old.

Anna Maria and Giovanni raised 6 children in Sulmona. They were Raffaele, Panfilo, Vincenzo, Elsa, Irma, and Lidia Santarelli.

The wonderful home they built in Sulmona in 1920/1930 still exists today.

Sadly, Anna Maria passed away at the age of 70. She was married to Giovanni 49 years. She is buried in the family cemetery in Sulmona beside Giovanni.
