John W. Anderson died at his home In Croton on Tuesday. He was born in that village on May 11, 1845 and had spent all of his life there except for a few years when he was In business in Peekskill. He is survived by one daughter Mrs. Grace Haverly of Croton; his wife having passed away several years ago one sister Mrs Eugene Barton of Croton and one brother Abrum S.Anderson of Peekskill. The funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock the residence of his daughter Mrs.Haverly of Riverside avenue and interment was in the Croton cemetery.
