Mr. Brown worked for the DuPont Co. and was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1967. After his tour of duty, he continued to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army Reserve for the next 20 years.
He retired in 2005 from the state of Delaware Department of Correction after 27 years of service. He loved all major sports. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Brown was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he actively participated on the usher board, new members committee and summer day camp.
