Jerry D. Bailey, 77, of Charleroi, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born July 20, 1938, in Lowber, a son of William and Marcella Williams Bailey. Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran and formerly employed by Corning and Clairton Works mill. He received a Bachelor or Arts from Cal U, attended Robert Morris College, and was a graduate of Pittsburgh School of Opticians. Surviving are one brother William Bailey Carolyn of Monessen; two sisters Marcella Johnson of Van Voorhis and Bettie Bailey Kubena (Dave) of Cokeburg; three nephews, Zach Kubena (Wendy), Jack Johnson (Barb), and Robert Johnson; and three nieces, Bethany Kubena (Bill), Valerie Catolflu (Jason), Denise Wieniski (Dan); and one great-niece Heidi Kubena.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Stancato and Norma Jean Bailey; and a nephew, William Bailey jr.

Visitation will be held 6-8pm Monday May 9th,2016 in Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral homes,. 235 Fallowfield Ave. Charleroi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am. Tuesday May 10th, 2016 at St. Damiens of Molokai, Monongahela, with Rev William Terza as celebrant, Interment will follow at Charleroi Cemetery.
