Funeral services will be Sunday, August 1, at 2:00 p.m. at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Corner. Dr. Sammie Reid officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors: husband of 52 years, Joe B. Cox; daughter, Donna Crane and her husband, Mark, of Warrior; sons, Billy Joe Cox and his wife, Mickey, of Birmingham, Charles Cox and his wife, Denise, of Bagley, Timothy A. Cox and his wife, Leann, of Corner; sisters, Lucille Bradford and Ruth Brakefield, both of Corner, Bobbie Faye McDonald of Cullman, Geraldine Dixon of Birmingham, and Wanda Sue Kernan of Bagley; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
