He graduated from Bonanza High School in 1999 and later went to college in Durango, Colo. He also attended Chicago Indian Ironworker College. He enjoyed working his occupation as an ironworker through the Local 118 out of Sacramento, Calif. He also enjoyed traveling and participating in powwows in which he was a men's grass dancer.
He married Sadie Hicks in 2007. He leaves behind his wife, Sadie Weiser; daughter, Azlea Weiser; parents, Catherine Mex Weiser, Juan Gonzalez, Gilbert Mejia, Naydra Gallagher, Gary Frost and Jack and Rebecca Lawson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mickey and Laurie Hicks; brothers, Eddie Weiser, Wally Lawson, Ryan Cooper, Tomy Williams and Bruce "Booie" Gifford; brother-in-law, Mickey Hicks Jr.; sisters, RaeDawn Weiser, Stella Lawson and April Garza; sisters-in-law, Casey Hicks and Cynthia Lawsons; aunts and uncles, Rennie Crain, Carmelita and Dewey Sampson, and Bonnie Weiser; and grandma-in-law, Carol McDaid. He also leaves behind numerous foster brothers, sisters, friends and relatives.
