Hank was the son of Henry Willman and Agnes Schrader. About 1955 he married Emma Herron and they had two children, Victoria and Teresa. After Emma's death in 2007 he married his second wife, June. He was a retired Army major and Purple Heart recipient who saw action during two tours in Vietnam. He also worked at GE, Haas Cabinet, and Commonwealth Fabricators, and was a former owner of A Packaged Deal. Hank died at the age of 78.
