Virginia Curnow, 78, passed away September 27, 2006 at the Hospice of St. John in Lakewood, CO. Preceded in death by husband, George Curnow, a Denver Policeman for 27 years, and grandson, Steven Curnow, a victim at Columbine High School, and brother Harold. Sister Janice lives in Colorado. Virginia was born and raised in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, and moved to Denver as a young woman and married. Their children, Robert, William, and Kenneth still reside in the Denver area. Daughters-in-law Susie and Kathy, and grandchildren Nancy Pfeffer (husband Zach), David Curnow, Ryan Curnow, and Jill Curnow (husband Ron Green) and their children, Paris and Vann, were the center of Virginia's life. She had close ties with friends in Arkansas and many cousins around the country. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, October 1st from 1-5pm. Funeral service will be Monday, October 2nd at 9:00am, both at Crown Hill Mortuary in Wheat Ridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: The Hospice of St. John, 1320 Everett Ct.
