He married on 7 April 1912 in Harrison Co., WV to Arvilla Maude Rector, the daughter of Elmore & Mary Orpha Smith Rector. She was born 20 Mar 1894 in Simpson, Taylor Co., WV and died 24 Aug 1965 in Clarksburg, Harrison co., WV.
