Mr. Meador died on Sept. 2, following a short illness.
He was born on Sept 1, 1911, son of the late Carter I. Meador and Sarah Elizabeth Wilson Meador.
Mr. Meador was retired from Pennyrile Rural Electric. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Aline Meador of Cadiz; one son, Bill Meador of Cadis; one daughter, Mrs. Sonny (Betty Lou) Litchfield; three sisters, Alta Rawls and Alma Broadbent, both of Trigg County and Jackie Ortiz of Fort Bragg, N.C.; four grandchildren, Gary Meador, Cathy West, Deborah Gamblin and Elain Meador; two step-grandchildren, Marti Litchfield and Tammy Najjor; four great-grandchildren, Jason Meador, Eric Meador, Kayler West and Justin Gamblin; and three step-great-grandchildren, Zakariaya Najjor, Juraya Najjor, and Ali Najjor.
He is preceded in death by four brothers, Parks Meador, Claude Meador, Wilford Meador, and Alfred Meador; and one sister, Nora Turner.
Active pallbearers were Bobby Shoemaker, Bobby Broadbent, Justin Gamblin, Jerry Tyler, Fred Denny, and Marty Litchfield. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Perry, Cecil Hendricks, Raymond Hughes, Mark Hammonds, James Berkalot, Harold Meredith, Calvin Hawkins, and Loyd Choate.
