Warren was born October 11, 1941, in Hall Summit, LA, and passed away suddenly at his home on May 14, 2016.

Warren, PaPa, Chief, Bloodhound was known and loved by many. He loved his Lord, his wife Sherry, his children and his grandchildren very much. He was a deacon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a certificate member of Mackey Lodge #122 in Ringgold, LA. He was a member of the Roadrunners Masonic Degree team and District Lecturer for District #2 Masonic Order.

PaPa loved to hunt and fish but the pride of his life were his grandchildren. He had many friends and he put forth 100 % effort in whatever he attempted. He never missed a high school basketball game that his sons or grandchildren played. He would follow their teams wherever they played and be the loudest fan in the stands.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Solon and Nona Mae. Warren is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Sherry, of Hall Summit; son, John Perkins and wife, Elizabeth, of Coushatta; son, Donnie Perkins and wife, Phyllis, of Camden Arkansas; grandchildren Jim Perkins and wife Laura; Emily Burns (his TopCat) and husband Chase; Jay Perkins (JayBird) and wife Taylor; Heather Collins and husband Wesley; Shannon Pitts and husband David and great-grandaughters, Desirea and Gisele Pitts and Savannah and Ava Collins; along with brothers, Robert and Kaye Perkins and Calvin and Sue Perkins, sister, Regina and Paul Swint and many nieces and nephews.

PaPa would want everyone to have a personal saving relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Pallbearers will be Jim Perkins, Jay Perkins, Chase Burns, Stanley Moseley, Paxton Moseley, Drew Moseley, Shane Hubbard and Gary Giddens. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Perkins, Calvin Perkins, Nubbin Pickett, Kenny Loftin, his masonic brothers and his beloved dog “Scooter”.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church/Gloria Joy Moore Louisiana College Scholarship Fund, Mackey Lodge #122 Ringgold or the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
