Duke of Savoy. He also called himself titular-king of Cyprus and Jerusalem despite the fact that his family lost the rights to these titles in 1499. He had nine children with his wife, of which only one survived to adulthood. Savoy was invaded several times by the french which ruled it most of his reign. His remaining titles were Prince of Piemont, Count of Aosta, Moriana and Nice. He spent most of his life in these lands.
