Vivian Mary Aasby, a former longtime resident of Estherville, Iowa, peacefully passed through Heaven’s gates on Friday, May 13, 2016, at St. Francis Home, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, at the age of 93.
Vivian, daughter of William and Myrtle (Harsh) Bunkofske, of Swea City, Iowa, was born on December 15, 1922, in Burt, Iowa.
On February 15, 1942, Vivian was united in marriage with Oliver in Swea City, Iowa. They made their home in Esthervill, Iowa, where they raised their children. They lived in Estherville until they moved to Fond du Lac in December 2003, to be closer to children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved family and friends.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac, with Rev. Tim Carlton and Rev. Richard Balken officiating.
VISITATION: The visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory.
