Alycia M. McCammon, 27, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 in Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. Born January 12, 1989 in Hershey, PA, she was the daughter of Thomas and Brenda (Eagler) McCammon. She graduated from Franklin Learning Center, Chambersburg, PA in 2010.
She volunteered through Keystone Human Services, Chambersburg with numerous organizations, including: various nursing homes, the Senior Center in Chambersburg, Anything Kids and Buds of Promise. She enjoyed swimming at the Chambersburg YMCA, ARC socials, therapeutic horseback riding at Star Equestrian, Hagerstown, MD, riding bikes on Rails to Trails in Chambersburg, watching television and movies. She was a very special girl; always happy and genuinely friendly to all she would meet. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Natasha D. Dillow, Chambersburg, her maternal grandmother, Fosta Eagler, Greencastle, PA, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ray J. Eagler and paternal grandparents, Frederick and Wanda McCammon.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 20, 2016 Otterbein United Brethren Church, 146 Leitersburg St. Greencastle, with Rev. David G. Rawley officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
