He was born December 2, 1953, in Indianapolis, to the late Claude and Myrtle (Albertson) McDougall. He married Jeanette L. Lawson on March 15, 1973 at the Grace Assembly of God Church in Morgantown. She preceded him in death on February 11, 2016 after 42 devoted years of marriage.
Tony retired in 2003 as a supervisor for Citizens Gas Company in Indianapolis after 25 years of service. After retirement, he worked as the lead custodian for Parking Services at IUPUI in Indianapolis. Tony was a member of the West Newton Worship & Youth Center in Camby. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, making flower pots out of tires and looking at cars. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Tony (Kari) Albertson, Kandice (Ricky) Greenwood and Lee (Jessica) Albertson; grandchildren: Noah & Kaitlyn Greenwood, Mason Albertson, Hunter & Blake Leslie and Levi Albertson; siblings: Grace Mullins, Chuck Albertson, Al McDermott, George McDougall and Anna McDermott and mother-in-law Ina Belle Cheatham.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Myrtle and his wife Jeanette.
