MEXICO - Gustav H. Altner, 96 died Thursday at Oswego Hospital where he had been a patient for nearly two months. Born in Minnesota on July 7,1876 he formerly resided in Furgus Falls, Minn., where he was employed as a male nurse at a state hospital .His wife, Mrs. Emma J. Blood Altner, died several yearsago.Surviving are a stepson, Daniel Stoney of Mexico; a sister, Miss Stella Altner of Furgus Falls; «two step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.Services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by Gibbs Funeral Home.
