Josephine was married to Alvin Terrance Womacks in Illinois. They later moved with their family to Fergus County in Nebraska, where they farmed for six years. In 1894 they moved to Gwynne, where they homesteaded NE-30-46-22W4. Mr. Womacks passed away in 1923. Mrs. Womacks died in 1930, and was laid to rest in the Roseland cemetery.
