NASHVILLE - William T. "Peter" Gunn, 73, died July 5, 2003. He was formerly a native of Pulaski County, Va. Mr. Gunn retired from Nashville Metro Government and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the son of the late Samuel C. and Lorena B. Gleason Gunn. He was preceded in death by his brother, Julian C. Gunn; and sister, Dora Lee Gunn Verryhill. Survivors include his sister, Joyce Gunn Berry of Melbourne, Fla.; brother, Jimmy W. Gunn of Newport News, Va.; and many friends. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Lotz Salem Chapel, Salem, Va. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem, Va. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 E. Church Ave., Roanoke, VA 24011.
