SATELLITE BEACH – Onni G. Koski, 90, a former Coast Guard chief petty officer, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. Mr. Koski was born in Duluth, Minn. He came to Brevard County in 1977 from Miami. He was a veteran of World War II and also served as a pilot flight engineer. Mr. Koski was honored in 1995 for his 50 years of masonic service. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Esther Koski of Satellite Beach; son, Norman Koski of Hendersonville, N.C.; stepdaughter, Patricia Peebles of Whispering Pines, N.C.; seven grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Calling hours are from 1 to 3 p.m. today, with services following, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, north of Melbourne.
