He was born in Hershey on November 10, 1945 to the late Ben Adams Sr., and Sylia Hainly Adams. Ed was a graduate of Hershey High Vocational School. He had served during Vietnam with the US Navy. Ed had been a tractor trailer driver and also a school bus driver with AP Bucks and Son for Palmyra School District. He had attended the Lebanon Valley Bible Church and also the Campbelltown Legion since 1966 and had various officer positions while at the Legion. Ed enjoyed camping, swimming, gardening, and woodworking. One of his great enjoyments in life was riding his motorcycle along with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 10 step children, 21 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a brother Dale Adams of Annville, and a sister Judy Prior of Maine. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Ben, and sister Joanne.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 10AM at Lebanon Valley Bible Church, 1482 Horseshoe Pike, Lebanon. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors. A viewing will be held Monday evening, May 23, 2016 from 6PM – 8PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street Annville, and again on Tuesday morning at the church from 9AM till 10AM.
