Margaret Mary Boisclair, 89, of 85 North Washington Street, North Attleboro, formerly of Hope Garden Apartments in Attleboro, a registered nurse and a beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt, died Friday morning, September 28, 2007 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

Born in New Haven, CT on August 25, 1918, Margaret was a daughter of the late Thomas A. Boisclair, Sr. and Mary Ellen R. (Matthews) Bosiclair.

She was raised and educated in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. Ms. Boisclair later graduated from the former Sturdy Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. A registered nurse and Supervisor of Obstetrics at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for over forty years, Margaret retired at the age of sixty-two after over four decades of dedicated service.

Ms. Boisclair was a member of the Nurse Guild at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, both in Attleboro. A resident of Madonna Manor Nursing Home in North Attleboro since June of 1997, Margaret formerly resided sixteen years at Hope Garden Apartments in Attleboro. Since 1953, Margaret enjoyed summering at her cottage in Dennisport, Cape Cod and years ago enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephews. Margaret M. Boisclair is survived by a brother: Thomas A. Boisclair, Jr. of Rehoboth, six nieces and three nephews. She was the beloved sister of the late Anne R. Johnson and Beverly R. Rollins.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 5 PM – 8 PM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro. A funeral will be conducted on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 9 AM from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro celebrated by the Rev. Richard Roy, Pastor. Margaret will be laid to rest beside her parents in St. Francis Cemetery, Glebe Street, Taunton.
