Frank S. Bachelder M.D. was the son of Olivia Kellogg of Vermont and Caleb C. Bachelder of Maine. He was working at the Pontiac State Hospital when he registered for the draft of WWI. He served as a Captain in the Medical Corps in that conflict. He was married to Bertha Lypps.
