STAUNTON, Va. Charles Glenn Ingalls passed away at age 74, on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease.Glenn was born in Albemarle County, Va. on June 29, 1941 and has lived in Troy, Va. for many years.

He served as a reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps and later retired from the Fluvanna County Correctional Center for Women in Troy, Va.

Glenn is predeceased by his father, Charles Ray Ingalls and mother, Mary Etna (Fletcher) Ingalls; and his sister, Patsy Snoddy.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 27 years, Nellie "Dot" Ingalls; his sister, Linda Templeton and her family; his children, Michael Glenn Ingalls, and Wendy Marie Ingalls and their families; and his step children, Linwood L. Smith, Jr. and Clarissa Smith Linton and their families. Glenn had three grandchildren, Charles Joseph Ingalls, Ashley Nicole Ingalls, and Jessica Elise (Wilkinson) Hall; and four great grandchildren, Peyton, Sariah, Blake and Haven. He will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at Monticello Memory Gardens on Saturday, May 21, 2016,at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America alzfdn.org.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.henryfuneralhome.net.
