Paris native and retired registered nurse Peggy Jean Dancy Paschall, 82, of Tucson, Ariz., died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2013, at her residence.

A graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday in Puryear City Cemetery. Tellus "Mackie" Gallimore of Hazel Church of Christ will officiate.

No visitation is planned. McEvoy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Born Aug. 11, 1931, in Paris, she was a daughter of the late James Hughes Dancy and Beulah Beatrice Blackwood Dancy.

She was married on June 18, 1955, to Hassell B. "Tim" Paschall, who died Jan. 21, 1983.

Paschall worked at Pima County Hospital and retired from Kino Community Hospital as an emergency room, all in Tucson. She was a member of East View Church of Christ in Tucson. She graduated from Grove High School in 1949.

Survivors are one daughter: Bibe Lou Paschall of Tucson; two sons: David (Karen) Paschall and Steven (Gayle) Paschall, both of Tucson; one sister: Mary Kay Smith of Jackson; one brother: James "Buddy" Dancy of Logansport, Ind.; two cousins: Rogina Baker and Martha Jane (T.) Bledsoe; one grandchild; one niece; and two nephews.
