Billy Ray Hall, age 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas left our presence on May 14th, 2016 to be with our Lord and Savior (2nd Corinthians C5 V7&8). He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years before retiring. He and his wife of 57 years started the deaf ministry at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ 42 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow W. Hall and Sylvia Baker Hall Kyle. He is survived by his wife, Frances Hardaway Hall, 6 children Pamela Clayton (Ronnie), Danny Hall, Becky McWhorter (Kevin), Clif Hall, Trisha High (Carl), David Hall (Jessica), 16 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren, one brother Jerry Hall (Ellen) and one sister Helen Mills of West Memphis.
Words cannot express our deep sadness, nor can they explain the peace and joy that passes all understanding knowing we will all be reunited in Heaven. Our family would like to give praise and thanks to Baptist Hospice, our church family and friends for all your guidance, prayers, visits, love and to your commitment to the deaf ministry and our family during our Hero’s journey with Alzheimer’s.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the deaf ministry of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, 117 West Maryland Avenue, Sherwood, AR 72120
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 19th, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m., both at Sylvan Hills Church of Christ in Sherwood, followed by burial with military honors at Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery in North Little Rock.
