Barbara J. Franze, age 86, peacefully passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, from complications related to pneumonia, in the comfort and presence of her children. Ms. Franze lived her entire life in Corpus Christi and worked for the same company for around five decades. Widowed at an early age, she devoted her entire life to her family especially her son, Billy Franze, her daughter, Christine Leighton and her grandchildren, William and Barbara C. Leighton who survive her and who are forever grateful for the unconditional love and support she tirelessly provided.
Although Ms. Franze was not afflicted with Parkinson's disease, should you wish to make a contribution in her honor please send it to The National Parkinson Foundation at parkinson.org.
On Friday, May 27, 2016, visitation will start at 9:30 a.m., and a funeral service will start at 10:30 a.m., at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
