Nov. 2, 1945, The Southern Aegis: Last rites were held Friday for Miss Sarah Louise Rowan, 86, of Ashville who passed away at the Pell City Infirmary Wednesday.
Funeral services were held from Evergreen Methodist Church with burial in adjoining cemetery. Rev. George Williams officiated and Kilgroe directed.
The deceased woman is survived by one brother, Andrew Rowan, 4 nephews, F. R., B. B., Curtis and Earl Coker, 1 niece, Mrs. Sam Thomas.
