Traci Lynne Hayes Sargent, 43, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Heritage Center surrounded by her family. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and was saved at a young age. She attended Arrowhead Church.

She graduated from Morristown East High School, where she lettered in basketball and softball. She graduated from the Walters State Community College of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse.

Prior to her illness, she was the Assistant Director of Nursing at the Heritage Center. Throughout her life, she loved children and was a foster parent to many. She devoted her life to helping and serving others.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia June Hayes; grandparents, Kathern Irene and Roy Hayes, Annie and Robert Southern; and uncle, Ronald R. Hayes.

Funeral Services will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home with the Reverend Rex Russell and Reverend Ben Shoun officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the Service. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
