LEXINGTON--Mrs. Viola Everhart Hedrick, 78, of Rt. 1 Turner Road died Saturday at Liberty House Nursing Home in Thomasville. Born in Davidson County, February 1907 to Charlie Lee and Fannie Lopp Everhart. She was a widow of Carl F. Hedrick, who died March 3, 1965.
Surviving are sons, Clyde Hedrick of Lexington, Ralph Hedrick and Charlie Hedrick, both of Turner Road, Clayton Hedrick of New Bowers Road, Carl Hedrick, Jr. of Kannapolis and Tom Hedrick of Welcome; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Walker of Sarasota, Florida; brothers, William A. Everhart and Banks Everhart, both of Turner Road, a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Crotts of Turner Road and 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hedrick's Grove United Church of Christ, with Rev. David Crook officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
