Lloyd, 92, of Riverdale, passed away Friday May 20, 2016 at the McLaren Hospital of Greater Lansing. Lloyd was the son of Wella and Florence (Morse) Parks.
He graduated from Vernon High School. Lloyd married Margaret Carpenter on May 28, 1948 in Angola, IN.
He served in the Army during WWII. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He is survived by his children Therisa (William) Barr, Lee Bassett, Faith (Steve) Hensel, Scott Parks, John (Linda) Parks, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also sister Corabell DeClurg and life time best friend Don Yelnek.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter Sandra Rue.
Per Lloyd’s request cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Michigan Conservation Assoc.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale.
