Frances Lavonne Parker, age 94, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Community Parkview Care Center following an extended illness.
She was born on January 12, 1922, in Elwood to the late Seymor and Velisa (Teeters) Faucett.
On April 15, 1947 she married John Parker and he passed away on March 4, 1985. Frances enjoyed reading, doing word searches, sitting on her porch, crocheting, watching westerns, and the Lawrence Welk show.
Frances is survived by her Daughter, Janice (Reggie) Hicks of Frankton, Son, Kevin (Vicki) Parker of Alexandria, Son, Jerry (Sandy) Harper of Frankton, 18 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her Father, Seymor Faucett, Mother, Velisa Faucett, Husband, John Parker, Son, Jeffrey Harper, Daughter, Marsha Leever, Daughter, Peggy Waymire, first husband Gerald Harper, two brothers Charles and Dale Faucett, two sisters Deloris Welch, Shirley Silvey, Grandsons, Tony Vinson and Adam Parker, Great Great Grandson, Kyler Wyman, and Son-in-law Jerry Leever.
Funeral service May 26, 2016 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, Indiana with Rich Leavell officiating. Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery.
