He served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid bowler and golfer, and his infectious smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of Houston Bowling Association and inducted posthumously into the Houston Bowling Hall of Fame. He worked at several bowling centers in Houston, Western Auto Service Center in Spring Branch, and was a State auto inspector at Cedel Garage in the Spring Branch area for many years.

Funeral liturgy was held on Friday, March 17 at St. Jerome Catholic Church. Interment followed at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
