Stella LaBrash was born in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Catherine Hoy LaBrash. Miss Stella LaBrash, of Quincy, and Mr. Daniel O'Brien, of Peoria, were married in May of 1904 at Peoria, Illinois. They became parents to four daughters. The family had lived in Kansas City, Kansas, about 50 years. Mrs. O'Brien was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Cathedral.
