Donald, 60, of Eaton Rapids, went to be with the Lord, May 28, 2016. Don was born to Donald and Frances (Bocek) Hoyt I.

He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and The Family Motorcycle Club. Don worked at Summit Steel/Padnos as a truck driver for 31 years.

He enjoyed deer hunting and bluegill fishing. Don was very proud of his family. He loved his siblings, spending time with his very special wife, Katherine, his children and grand children.

Don is survived by his wife, Katherine (Pennell) Hoyt; children, Josie (Heath) Mackey, Donald (Jennifer) Hoyt III, Jerry Hoyt, Sandra Sturis; grandchildren, Aaron Mackey, Chandler Mackey, Donald Hoyt IV, Jacob Hoyt, Allison Hoyt, Max Hoyt, Max Sturis; siblings, Tim Hoyt, Dawn (Robert) Hemminger, Theresa (Roger “James”) Harris, David (Celina) Hoyt, Tom (Debi) Hoyt; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Mass was Tuesday May 31, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Eaton Rapids with Fr. Bennett Constantine officiating. Interment folloedw at Tompkins Cemetery. A Rosary was prayed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Rifle Association or the American Cancer Society.
