"Del Valle Funeral.
The body of Mrs. David G[ideon] Del Valle, 72, of Los Angeles, Calif., former Rock Island resident, who died there Thursday, will be cremated, and the ashes sent to Rock Island for burial in the Stoddard lot in Chippiannock cemetery.
Susan E. Stoddard was an accomplished musician and was born in Rock Island May 9, 1866, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henry Stoddard. She studied music at Northwestern university, Evanston, and after her marriage, moved to New York City. She had lived in Los Angeles since 1920.
Her husband died several years ago [May 7, 1934] and two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. There are no immediate survivors."
