He was born at home in Decatur, Arkansas on July 17, 1941 to Emery Franklin and Mildred Maxine (Moots) Browers.
After graduating high school in Decatur, Arkansas, Frank enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served two years active duty on the U.S.S. Mattaponie and the U.S.S. Pyro, then two years reserve duty. He worked many years at Peterson Industries in Decatur and various other jobs before a forced early retirement for health reasons.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife JoAnn Browers, two sisters Wilma Browers and Lorraine Turner.
He is survived by a brother, Wayne Browers and wife Ilene; two sisters Cheryl Caveness and Joyce Thompson and husband Wayne; a brother in law Billy Gene Turner; also survived by a son Tim Browers and wife Martha; a daughter Teri Carnes and husband Joe; grandchildren Ricky Steele and wife Nadine, Jessie Strickland husband Lonnie, Rae-Ann Browers, Myles Browers and wife Ashley, Ty Browers and wife Felicia, Alex Jones, Brandon Jones, Jayme Stricker and husband Lawrence, Casey Carnes, Chase Miller and wife Makayla; great grandchildren are Tayiah Meldrum, William Meldrum, Tyler Strickland, Jacob Steele, Sadie Steele, Lucas Browers, Isaac Browers, Abigail Carnes, Briar Miller. Frank is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephew, and special friends including his caretaker Jeanette (Bush) Duncan, Rick and Amy Steele and LaVona Winkler.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Kansas First Baptist Church, Kansas, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery, Westville, Oklahoma.
