Edward Ingold, formerly of Flanagan, owner/operator of Ed Ingold Garage died Sunday (March 12, 1989) at Illinois Veteran's Home, Manteno, Illinois.

His funeral will be Wednesday (March 15, 1989) at Froelich Memorial Home, Flanagan, Illinois. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Flanagan, Illinois.

He was born on June 10, 1894 at Flanagan, Illinois, a son of Joseph and Susan Albrecht Ingold.

He married Helen G. Bray on February 11, 1920 at Utica, Illinois. She died on December 25, 1988.

Surviving are two sons, Edward J. Ingold of Hudson, Illinois; and Richard Ingold of Flanagan, Illinois; one daughter, Nancy Zehr of Flanagan, Illinois; four sisters, Mary Morris, Anna M. Meier and Pauline Doyle all of Pontiac, Illinois; and Alma Schmitt of Peoria, Illinois; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

He was a Livingston County Deputy Sheriff for many years.

Mr. Ingold was an Army Veteran of World War I and was the last surviving charter member of the World War I veterans of the Flanagan American Legion.
