While in high school in 1933, Doris May Ottman researched part of her family tree for a school project. It showed her connection to Richard Warren who came to America on the Mayflower. The connection was made through her grandmother (Emmergene Jacobs Thompson) and her great-grandmother (Catherine Almira Warren Jacobs). Doris contacted Eva Warren Wolfe who had done extensive work on the Warren history. Eva gave her research to Doris. (Eva's Memorial ID 85551161)

Years later Doris was kind enough to share her school project with her cousin Rufus Buell Thompson, Jr. (Memorial ID 137722390) as well as other family members. Then in the early 1970’s, Donald Jacobs (Memorial ID 32304034), his wife Maxine Hoffert Jacobs, Fern Jacobs Brown, and many others compiled and distributed “History of the Warren-Jacobs Family 900-1969”. (Eva Warren Wolfe was accepted by the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1929. Irene Jacobs Jordon was accepted in the Society of Mayflower Descendants in 1962.)

Thank you to everyone who documented and shared our family history.
