Stella Blue, was an orphan kitty found at the local Walmart here in Albany...She was a loyal friend to Laura and to Joseph and their love for her was evident. Two weeks ago we learned the devastating news that Stella had Feline Leukemia...

Two choices were given by the vet as to Stella's future...Let her live and make her comfortable or put her down...Our Vet made the observation that he had a cat that lived for 5 years with the disease, before it manifested any signs, so the decision was made to let nature take its course.

Stella lived for approximately one week after the diagnosis....

We all gathered at the Vets office this past Monday holding hands and giving Stella wonderful goodbye hugs and cuddles...she was so thin and so weak, that to let her go on would be worse than watching her go peacefully. Within minutes of the injection we watched her furrowed brow release and a take on a very peaceful aura as she passed from this world to the next. I will always remeber her last moment....almost like a painted picture in my mind...her misery turned into peace and she departed this life for the next of her 9 lives...Stella lives on in our memories and in our thoughts and smiles!

Rest now Stella Blue!
