She was born in Mt. Olivet, Ky., October 13, 1858 [1856]*, a daughter of Solomon and Catherine Ormes, and had lived in Connersville for the last 25 years. Survivors are four children, a son Cleveland Jones of Connersville; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Thompson of Paris, Ky., Mrs. Sydney Davie of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Joe Sikes [Sykes] of Grafton, Ill.; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Edward McDonald of Mt. Olivet, Ky. Burial at Lick Creek Cemetery.
