Stella G. Sabel, 66, of DeKalb County Nursing Home, died Tuesday, July 6, 1982 at the DeKalb County Nursing Home, DeKalb.

She was born July 15, 1915 in Arntin, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Vicey Klagg. She was married to William A. Sabel on April 16, 1937 in West Virginia.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Norma) Johnson, DeKalb, Mrs Dennis (Ruth) McNabb, Unicoi, Tenn., Patricia A. Sabel, Sycamore; two sons, William A. Sabel Jr., Sycamore, Michael E. Sabel, Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. Betty Diorio and Mrs. Shirley Delaney, both of Brandywine, Mo., and Mrs. Marietta Young, Babersville, N.C.; three brothers, Elmer Klagg Jr., and Kenneth Klagg, both of Lincolnton, N.C., and Cecil Klagg, Beckley, W. Va.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother.

Funeral service was at 2 p.m. today at Van Natta Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Elwin Colson officiating. Funeral will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore.
