Hugh Newell, brother of G. K. and J. A. Newell, came here from Ohio last fall, with the intention of making his home at this place, but he got dissatisfied and finally, not having money to pay his way he walked all the way back to
Adamsville, Ohio. He was forced to sleep out in the cold and to do without food and on the third day of this month, three days after his arrival home, he was found dead in his bed, the result of his exposure on the trip.
