Peter John Beals was born in Salem, Marion Co., OR September 13, 1957. He passed away May 2, 2006 while riding his bicycle in Tacoma, WA.
Peter was born to Maxine Washington and Lester Peter Belgarde. After the death of his parents he was adopted by C. E. and D.M. Beals. He attended school in Salem and graduated from Sprague High School He was employed at Fairview Training Center for five years befor joining the U.S. Navy where he served 10 years.
He was employed in Tacoma at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife Mary and son Kyle,of Tacoma, Wa. His siblings: P.M. Fields, Lori Whitaker & Mike Beals . His dad Carl and his step mother Sue.
He is at rest in the Paul Washington Cemetery with other members of his Native American Family.
