The 1740 inventory of Johathan's estate was taken by Joseph Humphrey. It was written on one sheet of paper containing 24 lines. Some of the items on the list were livestock, farm implements (plow), tools, 2 old barrels, bath tub, bed, clothing dishes, drinking mug, books, 2 old guns, a sword, candle stick, 2 bee hives, cash, and 15 sheets of paper. No furniture was listed.

Jonathan's burial location is unknown. It probably was on a family farm cemetery in current day Camden County, NC. The local grave marker used at that time were wooden and consequently they did not last long.
